EDIT: asdjhsakfhakfa someone submitted a question but I can't tell if it's for me or one of my characters. D: If you submit something, ask the character specifically, like "Hey Riley" or "Yo Maddy" or something because I can't tell otherwise fffffff.  And it's good to hear that people are still interested! I hope the story can live up to expectations. ;_;

Anyone out there still interested in Dragon's Eye? I don't have any new story material for you guys, but if anyone's interested the cast is willing to answer a few questions!  Got a question concerning a certain character? Favorite food, hobbies, past lovers, etc? Pretty much anything short of giving away the story. Head over to tumblr and leave it in my ask box and I'll see if I can get them to answer.  One thing: if you've read the prologue and chapter 1 I've posted, disregard EVERYTHING. The story's changed a lot since then and the characters don't meet the same ways. D: Some of them even have had a bit of a personality change.

I've seen this sort of thing going around and it looks like a good way to develop the characters in my mind.

Also, there's this program called TVPaint that I've recently discovered and REALLY want.  I download the trial version and HOLY CRAP it's amazing. Cool brushes and stuff that look like real media.  I was able to crank out a walk cycle in no time cause sketching is so easy.  So much better than Flash.  I can really see that me and this program have a future together. Destiny, man.  Has anyone else used it?

My plushie business has seriously been put on the backburner, unfortunately. One plushie completed in two months. UNACCEPTABLE.  But!  My thesis film is *finally* gonna be finished and turned in by Sunday so this last Derpy will be done after that, and then I'll reopen commissions on Ponychan.

Speaking of my film being almost finished, HOLY SHIT my film is almost finished!!!  This thing has taken up my life for the past year and a half and it's gonna be done in less than a week. I'm SUPER excited but unfortunately I can't post it online yet. A few of the festivals I want to submit it to don't accept it if it's online. I'm super excited to show you guys though.

Okee doke!  New journal time.  The end of senior year is fast approaching (just two more months whaaaaat) and production on my animated film is drawing to a close.  I'm so excited to see the finished product, but it's weird that I won't have something really tangible to show for it.  It's up on the screen, yeah, but physically the whole thing fits on a tiny flash drive.  Which is kind of a scary thought should I ever lose that flash drive. o_o  *plans on keeping tens of thousands of backups* But anyway, I'm not sure when it'll be online, but it will be eventually! I'm also hoping to submit it to a few film festivals.

Pony news! Something really cool is happening!  I was approached about participating in a Traveling Pony Museum, basically a large collection of art created by bronies that will be at multiple pony conventions around the States.  I was commissioned to make a Princess Celestia plushie as well as possibly a Luna.  I don't have a pattern for them yet so be expecting some WIP photos as I make the plushie.  The whole museum is being organized by and a few other staff members of BroNYCon.  Should be pretty sweet.  Check out the Equestria Daily page for more info if you're interested in participating: www.equestriadaily.com/2012/02…

It's scary that I'll be done with school. Like. DONE done. For the first 21 years of my life I've been conditioned for school and suddenly it won't be there anymore. I'll have to get a real job and buy my own place and wherever I end up I probably won't know anyone. How did I make friends before? OH GOD HOW DOES FRIENDSHIP WORK. D:  I'm sure I'll be fine, but thinking about it now is a bit overwhelming.  I guess the more immediate goal would be to graduate college first...

Wow I haven't updated this thing in forever.  I know I said I'd keep you guys up to date on my Pixar internship. Yeeeeaaahhhhh... They actually don't want people giving away too much of what goes on there.  To keep it a surprise for future years I guess.  But I can say that it was SO. AWESOME.   It only reinforced my wanting to work there after I graduate. The people there are so great and they have some really cool projects in the works. Brave is gonna be soooo gooooood.

Right now I'm in the middle of making my senior film. It's really intense. At Pixar we were given three weeks to animate 10 seconds, and now at school we're given five weeks to animate 2 minutes. SOMETHING DOESN'T QUITE ADD UP HERE.  >_<  Aww well... I'm liking how it's turning out so far. The entire film will be finished in April so I'll post it here when it's done.

Some news on pony plushies for those interested:  I'm still closed, but I've reworked my pattern and I'll be posting a new plushie soon. It looks a lot better and cuter than my old pattern.

Guys remember how I was freaking out about a possible Dreamworks internship? They had to cancel the internship so that sorta fell through. :

But it's totally ok! Because I got accepted as an animation intern at PIXAR!!!

Alright, this news has just blown me away. I found out about it last Thursday and the past few days have been so surreal. I just... got this call from a woman there and I thought it was just gonna be some phone interview thing but then she was all "lol you're accepted!" and I was all "... wut really?" And the whole rest of the phone call I was all "omigoshomigoshomigosh!"

So yeah I'm definitely going! It's all official and everything.  The internship starts June 6th so I've got a month to get everything in order. But seriously guys. This is just. Wha.  Literally a dream come true for me. ^___^  I never thought I'd be considered for this.
